Manajemen Wakaf Uang Dalam Meningkatkan Program Pendidikan Anak Yatim Di Yayasan Yatim Mandiri Surabaya

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the mechanisms for managing monetary waqf at Yatim Mandiri Surabaya and to examine its role and impact in improving the education of orphans. This study employs a qualitative method using a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in depth interviews, and documentation involving waqf administrators, education program managers, and beneficiaries of the education program at Yatim Mandiri Surabaya. The data analysis technique used is based on the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the management of monetary waqf at Yatim Mandiri Surabaya is carried out through four main stages, developing work programs; coordinating work units and assigning tasks, managing and developing funds; and monitoring and evaluating programs. The impact of waqf management can be analyzed in terms of the availability of educational facilities and the successful distribution of funds for educational programs. This study concludes that monetary waqf plays a strategic role in improving the quality of education for orphans through sustainable, empowerment oriented programs. Therefore, optimizing the management of monetary waqf can serve as an alternative solution to support educational development and the improvement of human resource quality in Indonesia.
